As a tour bus owner and operator, you are probably always looking for ways to make your customers happier while increasing your profit margins. Here are a few things you can do to achieve the results you are looking for:
Keep Drinks and Snacks On Hand
While many of your tour bus guests will remember to bring along snacks and drinks for the trip, some may have overlooked the task and will be looking for something to keep them satisfied while experiencing the sites and sounds on your bus tour. You can offer extra convenience and make some extra money by keeping some snacks and drinks on the bus for sale to your guests as requested.
You can even offer lunch kits for people and families who forgot to pack enough food for the day. And if you have room to stock snacks for an entire bus of guests, you can always promote the option to buy them to your guests when they book tickets for your tour. This will enable them to pack lighter and worry less about their needs for the day.
Offer Additional Support and Guidance
Make sure that your guests enjoy their experience beyond your bus tour by offering additional support and guidance to them. Whether there are nature trails to be taken, sightseeing back roads to be traversed, or a big city to explore, you can have a team waiting when your tour ends to take interested guests on guided excursions so they don't have to go it alone. Not only will you make more money, but your guests will get more out of their overall experience with your company. You can also sell guidebooks, fliers, and audio tours to increase your profits and guests' interest in your offerings.
Invest in a Mobile Mechanic Account
If you break down while transporting guests, you'll waste your time and theirs, and you may even lose money due to the request of tour refunds when all is said and done. It's not possible to ensure that you'll never break down, so it's crucial to invest in a mobile mechanic account for your bus. If you ever do break down, you can simply call your service provider so someone can come out and make the needed repairs on the spot. You and your guests can move on quickly, and the payment for the mobile bus mechanic service you received can be taken right out of your account.Share

Last year, I had to replace the brakes and rotors on my car twice because the rotors had warped. I knew that this wasn't something that should be happening and started questioning what was causing it. I started doing some research into my car's breaking system to see if I could figure out what was causing the rotors to get so hot that they warped so quickly. I created my blog to help others find the problems with their brakes. It is my hope that my personal experience and research can help others avoid the costly repairs that I have endured over the years.
